Many of the asylum seekers are survivors of rape and/or torture and have chosen destitution over deportation because they fear for their lives if they are returned home.
Volunteers support asylum seekers whose claims have failed and who are destitute. A large team of volunteers offer signposting to legal advice, medical treatment, counselling, a cooked meal, a basic food parcel, nearly new clothes or even just a friendly chat.
There really is something for everyone!
