Start Building This Tisha B'Av

Tisha b'Av is about getting real with the destruction in our world. Human beings have been blessed with an extraordinary gift -- the ability to compensate for pain and return to a comfortable status quo in the face of loss. When used correctly in a limited fashion, this a healthy way of healing. When abused and used as an escape, this is more destructive than the pain itself. Tisha b'Av is when we strip away the illusion that all is good in our world. It's a spiritual time to focus on reality and be galvanised towards repair.
