Rachel & Paul Rubenstein

A friend recommended Tikun when we were looking for a modern Rabbi for our wedding. The first time we met R. Yosef, the three of us just clicked instantly and we knew he was going to be a great “match”. We enjoyed his open and inclusive approach, and were able to build a great relationship throughout our time together.
We took part in the relationship enrichment program with other like-minded young couples and enjoyed learning about the 3 principles and how we could apply them in both our everyday lives and our relationship. We were encouraged to question or challenge things if we didn’t agree, and nothing was seen as wrong or right, just a new way of looking at things.
In the lead up to the wedding we felt completely safe in Rabbi Yosef’s hands as he explained step by step how the Chuppah would run. He also invited our parents to Tikun the week beforehand to meet each other, ensuring they were offered the opportunity to feel included, and ask any questions they had.
The day itself ran without a glitch and we will never forget the lovely words Rabbi Yosef delivered, which were very personal to us – a testament to the time we had spent getting to know each other beforehand.
